These are some software tools I use a fair bit. They save time, work well, and for the most part help me get stuff done better.
google notebook
Also a firefox plugin notebook. Lets you clip stuff from websites that you want to look at later and organizes them into categories.

Clips pictures and content and can be set up to post to your blog, with your comments as a presee.
screenhunter
For screengraps. You can draw a box round anything on your screen. Screenhunter then takes a ‘picture’ or that area and saves it to your desktop as a .gif image.
